　　Directions: For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write an essay on the use of translation apps. You can start your essay with the sentence "The use of translation apps is becoming increasingly popular. " You should write at least 120 words but no more than 180 words.

　　四级写作考查的文章类型比较多样，2015年以前的真题常以图片、谚语、信件类为主，2015年后常考议论文文体。本次考查的是依然是议论文，主题为“ 翻译软件的使用”。针对这样的话题，我们可以采用议论文常用的三段式结构。

　　建议文章结构：

　　首段包含：背景句+话题句+ 个人观点

　　中段包含：原因/结果/对比/举例等多种论证方法

　　末段包含：总结+建议+憧憬

　　词汇方面： 同近义词替换，如:

　　more and more people可以替换为people in mounting numbers

　　think可以替换为commit to the notion that…

　　important 可以替换为 play a key role in…

　　great可以替换为 excellent

　　there is no doubt 可以替换为 … beyond doubt.

　　over-use 可以替换为go to extremes to use

　　句式方面:

　　It 主语从句，比较级句式，强调句型，双重否定等的使用，可以使你的作文锦上添花。

　　范文：

　　Nobody could have failed to notice the fact that the use of translation apps has become increasingly popular nowadays. I consider that it is advisable for us to keep a clear mind while using the translation apps.

　　Most of us have formed a positive impression about the translation apps, which have played an essential role in our learning, particularly for the learners of the second language. It seems that the better we know how to use the apps, the faster we can complete the tasks. Despite this, it is the translation apps that make the communication between people who don’t speak English at all and foreigners possible. Consequently, the advantages the translation apps possess are beyond doubt. However, what is also worth noticing is that some people go to extremes to use these apps and believe they never have to recite words, which is obviously mistaken. No matter how advanced the translation apps are, what invariably happens is that we need to keep the vocabulary in minds so that we can use them at any time.

　　From what has been discussed above, we may safely draw the conclusion that it is difficult not to be tempted by translation apps. Only when we use them in an appropriate way can we become an excellent learner.
