　　PartⅠ Writing ( 30 minutes )

　　Directions: For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write a letter to a foreign friend who wants to learn Chinese. Please recommend a place to him. You should write at least 120words but no more than 180words.

　　点评：

　　近两年，应用文成为四级写作考查的热门和重点。书信作为应用文的核心内容，今年成为出题点并不意外。出题人在考查学生的基础表达能力的同时，也强调学以致用，理论与实践相结合。

　　关于书信，首要应注意格式。称呼顶格写，用逗号, 本文收信人为国外友人，编写一个名字即可。正文分三段。第一段点明写作意图，即推荐的内容，第二段给出推荐的理由，一般写两至三点，尾段进行常规的期待和祝福。最后，记得署名不要签写自己的名字，用李华，李明等均可。

　　整体来看，本次写作难度不大，只要学生平常有所准备和练习，写起来应该可以得心应手，切记不可临门抱佛脚。

　　I haven’t seen you for a long time. I am glad to hear that you want to learn Chinese recently and now I would like to recommend “Confucius Institute” to you, an ideal place where you can surely enjoy a wonderful experience.

　　The primary reasons for my recommendation can be summarized as follows. First of all, the organization aims to promote Chinese and provides Chinese language and culture courses. Whatever your goal and level of experience, it always has a course that meets your needs. What is more, it has a professional work team and opens to everyone who loves China and has great interests in Chinese, where you can absolutely receive a systematic training and then make greater progress day by day. No doubt that you will benefit from it to a large extent.
