The issue is so widespread that it has not only come into the educators’ vision, but also gained increasing attention from the public.

In modern society, it has become a tendency for individuals to get information from Facebook, twitter, Wechat rather than the real books. Two reasons could account for the phenomenon. One is the popularity of cellphone which enables people to stare at the apps wherever they are. The other is that people tend to read short and easy messages instead of difficult and long books.

Admittedly, advanced information technology does provide convenience for our study, but we should be deeply conscious of the essence of reading and attach importance to cultivating the habit of reading real books.
