As we can see from the drawing, a man and a woman are chatting in a bar, the former drinking a cup of coffee, while the latter saying, "I love reading, the book I read most is Facebook". The pun reflects current abuse of the Internet.
Although Facebook appears to be one of the most main-stream communication tools in contemporary society, the book is totally irreplaceable. The information the Internet provides is superficial and untested. While college students always resort to website for reference instead of authoritative resources, such as Longman Dictionary, Oxford encyclopedia or textbooks. The information shown on the Internet is of poor nutrition. So how to deal with this problem？
The universities should provide the students with some lessons on how to discriminate the reference material. The students should enhance their awareness of taking advantage of fine, academic and formal resources and get rid of the convenience-based thought. Only in this way can we find the worthy knowledge we want and make us a full person!
