　　Directions: For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write an essay on the saying: “The best preparation for tomorrow is doing your best today.” You should write at least 150 words but no more than 200 words

　　When it comes to future, everybody has his own projection. But the question is whether one can make the best of today instead of simply imagining a rosy and fruitful future. He who wants to have a successful life should keep in mind that the best preparation for tomorrow is doing his best today.

　　There are two possible reason for the importance of making the best of today. On the one hand, we live the moment rather than yesterday or tomorrow. Thus, we are supposed to cherish every moment we live. On the other hand, improving ourselves matters along the course of history especially in this highly competitive society. We should improve ourselves by doing meaningful things such as reading, learning, and practicing, which can help us a lot in the pursuit of our dreams.

　　We, college students, are at the prime days of our physical condition, so it is of importance to cherish and seize every day of our live and make efforts to do our best today so as to embrace a bright and glorious future.
