茅台(Moutai)是中国最有名的白酒，在新中国成立前夕，被选为国宴用酒。 据说赤水沿岸的村民四千年前就开始酿造茅台。在西汉时期，那里的人们生产出了高质量的茅台，并把它贡给皇帝。自唐朝开始，这种地方酒通过海上丝绸之路运往海外。茅台味道柔和，有一种特殊的香味;适量饮用可以帮助缓解疲劳，有镇静作用，因而广受国内外消费者的喜爱。
【译文】
Moutai is the most famous liquor in China, which was selected as the drink/ beverage for state banquets on the eve of the founding of New China. It is said that the villagers along the Chishui River began brewing Moutai 4000 years ago. During the Western Han Dynasty, the people there produced high-quality Moutai and presented it as a tribute to the emperor. Since the Tang Dynasty, this local alcohol has been transported overseas via the Maritime Silk Road. It has a mild taste and a unique fragrance. Drinking in moderation can relieve fatigue and has a calming effect, so it is widely popular with consumers at home and abroad.
【解析】
1.茅台(Moutai)是中国最有名的白酒，在新中国成立前夕，被选为国宴用酒。
考点：多动词的处理
对于多动词我们可以处理成并列，非谓语动词或者非限定性定语从句。茅台是主语，一个谓语是“是”，一个谓语是被选为。所以我们可以选择任意一个谓语作主语的谓语，另外一个作非限定定语从句的谓语。

2.据说赤水沿岸的村民四千年前就开始酿造茅台。
考点：主语从句的后置
看到据说.....，据报道……，据记载……我们都可以使用主语从句的后置，据说就是it is said that……，赤水就是赤水河，用我们课堂上讲过的大江大河的写法处理就可以了，Chishui River
It is said that the villagers along the Chishui River began brewing Moutai 4000 years ago.
3.在西汉时期，那里的人们生产出了高质量的茅台，并把它贡给皇帝。
考点：并列句
西汉时期就是我们课堂上讲的朝代的名字the Western Han Dynasty，皇帝我们也写过emperor
During the Western Han Dynasty, the people there produced high-quality Moutai and presented it as a tribute it as supply to the emperor.
4.自唐朝开始，这种地方酒通过海上丝绸之路运往海外。
考点：被动
主语应该是酒，谓语是运往，酒和运往是被动关系
Since the Tang Dynasty, this local alcohol has been transported overseas via the Maritime Silk Road.
5.茅台味道柔和，有一种特殊的香味;
考点：简单句。味道柔和可以说是有一种柔和的口感 mild taste或者soft taste
It has a mild taste and a unique fragrance.
6.适量饮用可以帮助缓解疲劳，有镇静作用，因而广受国内外消费者的喜爱。
考点：并列句，状语从句
缓解疲劳也可以用alleviate/relieve fatigue，或者是让你变得不是很累make you less tired，受….喜爱可以用be popular with sb，abroad是副词，所以前面不用介词
Drinking in moderation can relieve fatigue and has a calming effect, so it is widely popular with consumers at home and abroad.
