Directions: For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write an essay on online libraries. You can start your essay with the sentence “the use of PPT is becoming increasingly popular”. You should write at least 120 words but no more than 180 words.
【范文】
Along with the promotion of Chinese education, there has been an increase in the number of college students, which makes PPT, one of the most efficient ways of presenting information, widely used in schools.
Compared with the traditional way of teaching which concentrates on oral explaining, PPT can mobilize students’ visual and auditory senses to their greatest degrees. Through inserting short videos and songs relevant to the lessons, teachers are always able to re-attract students’ attention when they wander away. In addition, with the function of highlighting, the very core of a lesson can be easily marked in a single page, which is conducive to taking notes and reviewing. Furthermore, students are usually asked to give a presentation in the form of PPT. During the process of designing PPT, they can re-comb intellectual dots learned before so as to have a deeper impression.
By and large, the use of PPT in schools does students a world of good. It would be a sound policy to promote such kind of teaching method.
