今年7月四级作文考查的话题是“翻译软件”，本次考试考察的话题是“在线图书馆”，这个话题与7月份的写作题目话题相类似，仍然考查的是议论文。总体来说，四级写作出题的思路比较固定，都是针对某一事物或者是社会现象进行评述，大多考查的是议论文。接下来，我们来看一下2020年9月四级写作真题：
Directions: For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write an essay on online libraries. You can start your essay with the sentence "Online libraries are becoming increasingly popular. " You should write at least 120 words but no more than 180 words.
题目要求针对“线上图书馆越来越受欢迎”这一现象进行写作，这个话题比较贴近同学们平时的学习和生活，找到写作思路并不是非常困难，可以从平日的生活经验来挖掘写作观点。整篇文章依然可以采用三段式的结构，首段可以利用题目已给出的句子引出“线上图书馆越来越受欢迎”的现象，说明该现象十分普遍。中间段是整篇文章的核心部分，可以具体陈述线上图书馆的好处和弊端。线上图书馆的好处很多，例如读者能随时随地阅读、书籍能永久保存等。线上图书馆的缺点在于电子屏可能会伤害学生们的视力等。最后一段可以针对线上图书馆的使用提出合理的建议。

Online libraries are becoming increasingly popular. Nowadays, a growing number of people utilize online libraries on their mobile phones or laptops, which allows them to read books and academic journals whenever and wherever possible. As far as I am concerned, online libraries have both advantages and disadvantages.
On the one hand, online libraries provides people with the opportunity to obtain references in an efficient way. For instance, as people are busy with their careers and daily affairs all the time, a host of them fail to have adequate time to visit libraries. Nevertheless, this issue can be easily solved by online libraries. Because as long as the Internet is available, people are able to read books，magazines and journals through online libraries even at the intervals of their work. Moreover, with the assistance of online libraries, a large quantity of books and other learning materials can be well-preserved. On the other hand, online libraries may probably do harm to people’s physical health, for staring at the electronic screen for a long time will be likely to cause visual fatigue or myopia. In addition, when readers can get easy access to online libraries, they may be reluctant to do their utmost to finish reading as quickly as possible.
In conclusion, whether online libraries are conducive to our life and study depends on the way we use them. Only if we use online libraries rationally and moderately can we enjoy the convenience brought by them.
