For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write on the topic Changes in the Way of Transportation. You should write at least 120 words but not more than 180 words.
The dawning of 5G communication has given birth to novel generations of commuting, with apps for flagging cabs the most typical ones.
On the one hand, compared with traditional ways of hailing taxis, cab-flagging apps enable users to select the time of departure and the boarding points according to their schedules, which is time-saving for office workers. Also, multiple choices of vehicle types are available. However, some accidents caused by those apps has aroused public discussions over the security of booking cabs online. Therefore, relevant policies and regulations ought to be issued and enforced to eradicate illicit competitions among drivers. On the other hand, the most frequently used taxi-hailing apps, such as “Didi Dache” (Chinese version of Uber), have installed speech detectors so as to ensure the safety of passengers, which is worth being promoted throughout the country.
To sum up, changes happening in ways of transportation bring about both advantages and shortcomings. It is necessary to further optimize those hailing services so that safer travel conditions can be created.
