Directions: For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write a short essay on why students should be develop creativity. You are required to write at least 150 words but no more than 200 words.
【范文】
When facing such question as “Why students should be encouraged to develop creativity”, we are always answering that creativity is of great necessity for modern students in this ever-changing information age.
Why does creativity play such a vital role in the cultivation of students? The reason lies in the fact that this ability could enable youngsters to wake up their innate urge for new things. Undoubtedly, people with this ability are more likely to break the boring routine, and to light up the sparkles of brand new ideas. For instance, in ancient China, it was constant creativity that gave rise to a series of remarkable breakthroughs such as the Four Great Inventions of our nation which would benefit all the human beings in the long run of history.
Accordingly, at no time should we overlook the value of creativity. This ability should be regarded as an indispensable quality for all modern students who would be the impetus for our social advancement in the foreseeable future.
