Changes in the Way of Communication

Over the last half century, the pace of change in the way of communication has increased beyond our wildest expectations. Taking a look around, we can find examples too numerous to list.We keep in touch anytime and anywhere by using QQ, wechat, video phone and the like .

First and foremost, nowadays, instead of writing letters in the past time,people can transfer files via wechat anytime and anywhere, regardless of whether they are working or studying, so as to maintain communication,which greatly improves the efficiency of work and study . What’s more, unlike the previous Chinese New Year with cash red packets, now people send red packets on wechat to greet friends, which increases the fun and convenience of life. Last but not least, the rise of social media, such as micro-blog, gives people more opportunities to comment on public figures which sometimes brings network violence.

Taking all these factors into account, there is no doubt that the way people communicate has changed dramatically in recent decades, which has both advantages and occasionally negative effects.The best policy, as I see it, is to maximize their advantages and minimize their unhealthy influences, so that they can benefit us in a better way.
