2020年12月大学英语六级作文：Directions: For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write an essay on why students should be encouraged to develop creativity. You should write at least 150 words but no more than 200 words.

首先，通过审题发现今年12月份的六级作文是很典型的优秀品质类作文。题目为为什么要培养学生发展创造力，所以我们可以按照此类作文的结构去完成本篇写作，首先明确此篇文章的结构。

确定本篇文章为优秀品质类作文后，先确立写作大纲:

第一段引入现象，提出观点。随着社会和科技的高度发展，人们已经习惯了接受身边的一切便利条件，而懒于去思考，去创造。在这样的大环境下，创造力显得如此重要，如此珍贵。

第二段可以展开论述为什么要鼓励学生发展创造力why students should be encouraged to develop creativity。然后给出两点原因: 一方面on the one hand，创造力可以使个人取得事业上的成功。很多优秀建筑作品和绘画作品的呈现都是源于个人强劲的创造力。历史上也有很多人的成功得因于其发明创造，例如飞机的发明者莱特兄弟。另一方面on the other hand，学生创造力的发展有利于社会的进步，正如一句老话所说“少年强则中国强”，一个国家一个民族的进步发展体现在其是否有创造力上，而国家和民族的创造力则是由青年学生推动的。正如四大发明推动了古代中国的进步，工业革命促进了英国的发展。
