　　因说明文内容灵活，可套用模板较少，自2018年12月以来，四级写作已经第5次连续使用说明文(介绍事/物)，而非曾经常考的“重要性”、“解决方案”类议论文。因此广大考生有必要针对此命题趋势，熟悉说明文框架而非模板，以端正的态度进行写作练习。

　　Directions: For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write on the topic Changes in the Way of Communication. You should write at least 120 words but no more than 180 words.

　　Along with the development of science and technology, changes in the way of communication have reshaped our modern life in almost every aspect. While the younger generation may take it for granted to live with the blessings of great convenience, we have been the witnesses of unprecedented changes over the past decades.

　　The changes of communication method have taken place not only in our life but also at work. Words carried by letters or telegraphs, or voice through telephones used to be the very few available ways to convey our thoughts to our beloved ones from afar at a great cost of either time or money. However, with mobile Internet and smart phones, we are able to actually see our family members or friends just through screens. In work places for business, important files in electronic format may be exchanged through the Internet within seconds – no more worries that it might be damaged or lost after a long journey to the other side of the planet.

　　As beneficiaries of modern technology, we are enjoying the improvement in productivity brought by changes in the way of communication like never before. Yet we cannot indulge ourselves merely in the convenience, e.g. being obsessed with smart phones. Active measures should be taken to help us to make proper use of the changes for an even better future.
