　　试题综述：本次四级翻译题有三篇，皆与中国文化有关，分别为剪纸、灯笼和舞狮。前两篇为四级普通难度，后一篇相对较难。首先专有名词剪纸、灯笼和舞狮就难倒一波考生。大家翻什么的都有，回去要好好积累一下这些专有名词的正确写法。其次要合理地划分出各个句子主语，相同主语怎么翻译，不同主语怎么翻译?这些在新东方的课堂上皆有详尽讲解。另外一点大家要注意一个难点，即英语中动意的表达。如果句中有一个动词还好，如果出现连续反复的动意怎么处理也是一个令人深思的问题。需要考生熟练掌握。最后，要养成灵活善变的翻译思维，有些考生其实是具备写出正确译文的能力的，只是不善于去改写原文，用手上掌握的武器去翻译。这也是一种临危不惧的应变及应试能力。

Usually, red papers are the most widely used for paper cutting, because red is closely connected with happiness in traditional Chinese culture. Therefore, red paper cutting works are the top choice for the decoration of doors and windows on many festive occasions such as the wedding ceremony and the Spring Festival.

　　Lanterns, stemmed from the Eastern Han Dynasty, were originally used for lighting. In the Tang Dynasty, they were used to celebrate the peaceful life. Since then, lanterns have become popular in many places of China. Usually, a lantern is made of colorful thin paper in different shapes and sizes. Red lanterns represent happy life and prosperous business in traditional Chinese culture. Therefore, they are often hung up during festivals such as the Spring Festival, the Lantern Festival and National Day. Now, you can see red lanterns in many other places of the world.

　　舞狮

　　Lion dancing, as a traditional Chinese folk performance, has a history of 2，000 years. In the performance, two performers are covered in a lion costume together. One of them waves the head of the lion, the other moves the body and tail of it. Both of them cooperate skillfully and imitate various movements of a lion. As the king of animals, lions represent happiness and good fortune, so people often have lion dancing during the Spring Festival and other festivals. Lion dancing can also be seen on many other formal occasions，say, the opening ceremony of a shop or a wedding ceremony, which often attracts a large audience.
