《三国演义》(the Romance of the Three Kingdoms)写于14世纪,是中国著名的历史小说。这部小说以三国时期的历史为基础,描写了从2世纪下半叶到3世纪下半叶魏、蜀、吴之间的战争。小说描写了近千个人物和无数的历史事件。虽然这些人物和事件大多是基于真实的历史,但他们都不同程度地被浪漫化和戏剧化了。《三国演义》是公认的文学名著。自出版以来,这部小说吸引了一代又一代的读者,对中国文化产生了广泛而持久的影响。

The Romance of the Three Kingdoms was written in the 14th century and it is a well-known historical novel. The novel is based on the history of Three Kingdoms period, describing the war among Wei, Shu and Wu during the second half of the 2nd century to the 3rd century. The novel describes almost a thousand figures and countless historical events. Though the figures and events are from real history, they are made romantic and dramatic at some level. The Romance of the Three Kingdoms is acknowledged to be a famous literature work. Since its publication, it has attracted readers one generation after generation and put wide and long-lasting impact on Chinese literature.
高分版:
Written in the 14th century, the Romance of the Three Kingdoms is a famous historical novel of China. Based on the history of the Three Kingdoms period, this novel depicts the wars among Wei, Shu and Wu from the second half of the second century and the second half of the third century, with nearly a thousand characters and countless historical events described in the novel. Although most of these characters and events are based in real history, they are romanticized and dramatized to various degrees. The Romance of the Three Kingdoms is a generally-accepted work of literature. Since its publication, the novel has attracted generations of readers, exerting an extensive and long-lasting influence on Chinese culture.
本次翻译话题选择大纲规定的“历史文化”,全篇181字,整体难度居中,比2019年12月份的难度低一些。从句式结构上来看,把原文的句子都拆解成短句、将原文的意思完整地翻译出来,就可以实现及格。如果考生有能力把句子优化整合,选词应用较为贴切,实现高分的可能性则比较大。
第一句到第三句,都是可以用-ed分词用于句首做状语整合成一句话的,因为这三句的主语都是《三国演义》,我们看到“《三国演义》写于……”“(三国演义)是……”“这部小说以……为基础”“这部小说描写了……”,所以我们选择了written,based,with等能用做状语的非谓语和独立主格来优化、简化句子,这里的考点也非常清晰,大纲对应的“结构正确,语义完整,表达流畅”,而其实当我们把大纲进行拆解,就会发现导致我们高分的语法句法,聚焦于高中语法的非谓语、独立主格、定语从句、主语从句或状语从句。
词汇方面的难度不高,没有超纲,也没有词汇不可替代,比如“浪漫化”和“戏剧化”,完全可以用使让动词来解释为make them romantic来对应原文,体现我们课堂讲词汇时给同学们用过的“退而求其次”的选词逻辑;“描述”出现了两次,可以用大纲词汇的“describe”或者“depict”来替换使用。
