　　Directions: For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write a short essay commenting on the saying “The best preparation for tomorrow is doing your best today”. You can cite examples to illustrate your views. You should write at least 150 words but no more than 200 words.

　　本次六级作文难度较低，考查形式与2017年12月相似，属于引言类议论文，考察话题围绕“对明天最好的准备就是把今天做到最好”，内容结构建议三段模式。

　　第一段：引出话题，首先提出引言，接着解释含义，最后提出格言蕴含的意义。(what)

　　Someone once referred to that, “The best preparation for tomorrow is doing your best today”.In other words, if we want to make full preparation for the future, we have to make full use of the present. Indeed, it is universally acknowledged that making the most of the present should be taken into serious account.

　　Actually, there are numerous cases can be cited to support the above opinion. For instance, Jack Ma, the initiator of a well-known international company Alibaba, was an ordinary English teacher in the past. However, with persistent efforts, he could come down to earth and cope with the problems they faced in different phases rather than be a great daydreamer. In the end, due to his appropriate attitude towards life and difficulty, he made his company one of the most renowned firms in not only China, but also the world. Jack Ma is a typical example that can indicate the significance of seize the present and make the most of it.

　　In a nutshell, it can be concluded that no one can achieve success without doing his or her best today. Therefore, it is urgent that we should take actions right now and stop dreaming. Only if we make full use of the moment will we embrace a brighter future.
